Privacy policy
Effective August 19, 2026. This page says plainly what tipsyield.com collects, what third parties collect through it, and how to opt out.
What this site collects directly: almost nothing
The ladder calculator runs entirely in your browser. The plan years, income amounts, and yields you enter are never sent to this site's servers and are not stored anywhere after you close the tab. There are no accounts and no logins.
Two forms exist, and both are optional. The contact form stores the message you write, the page you sent it from, a timestamp, and an email address only if you choose to give one; this is used solely to read and answer your message. The retired primer waitlist stored the email addresses visitors submitted before launch, used only to announce the primer. Neither list is sold, shared, or used for marketing beyond that stated purpose.
Purchases
The primer is sold through Stripe. When you buy it, Stripe collects your payment details and email address on its own pages under Stripe's privacy policy. This site never sees your card number. It receives from Stripe the email address tied to the purchase, which it uses to deliver the download and verify future download requests, nothing else.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and device type, under Google's privacy policy. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or any standard content blocker.
Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's My Ad Center (formerly Ads Settings).
- You may opt out of many other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are set, and ads there follow the choice you make in it. You can change that choice from the link the message provides.
Hosting logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver pages and block abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. This site keeps no server logs of its own.
Your choices and rights
To have a contact-form message or a waitlist entry deleted, or to ask what this site holds that is tied to your email address, use the contact form and it will be handled directly. Cookie controls for analytics and advertising are the opt-out links above plus your browser's own cookie settings; the site itself works fully with all cookies blocked.
Children
This site is about retirement bond math and is not directed at children under 13, and it knowingly collects no information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. Material changes get a line in the site's updates log.
